Among his survivors are his three daughters, Karen, Cheryl and Michele. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Irene, in 2000.

	Service Sign Progress	Jul 14, 2011	The progress of the re-building of the Service Clubs signs located by the Poulin Grain site and by the Tallman House site on either side of the Village.

	Refurbished Benches for the Community	Jul 9, 2011	Benches donated by Mary Lawrence and the St. Lawrence University Golf Course are refurbished by Bob DeGraff. The benches will be given to the village and Grasse River Heritage.

	Allison AKINS is goint to San Salvador	Mar 1, 2010	Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Ogdensburg, Allison AKINS will be for 15 days in San Salvador. Allison has been an Interac Advisor at the Lisbon School for past 4 years. It is a team of 15 students and 6 chaperons from US and Canada. With Linda McQuinn, our President is Becky AKINS, Chaperon during this adventure.

	Celebration of the 2010 Chinese New Year	Feb 15, 2010	As part of the 2010 winterfest of the town of Canton, the club celebrated the Chinese new year at the Asian Buffet in Canton. This two days celebration gathered close to 200 people at the restaurant. This activity will help the club to honor one or more international humanitarian projects in Africa or South America.The ownwer Jim S. Williams High School to recognize outstanding achievement of students in vocational areas.Kaleb received both a certificate and cash award for his outstanding performance in Conservation, Power Mechanics, Personal Finance, and Materials Processing.

	Campus Kitchen Project.	Jan 25, 2010	Campus Kitchen Project: The main goal of Campus Kitchens Project (CKP) is to use leftover food to create nutritious meals for those in the community that may need it.This exceptional project was presented by Stacie Sommerfield and Caitlin Christie SLU '11. On one of the pictures is also our Club President Linda McQuinn and the two speakers of the meeting.

	Jeremy MARIE a world traveller.	Jan 4, 2010	Jeremy MARIE starting in 2007 a World tour by Hitch Hicking. From CAEN(France), his feet took him in a tour of already 76,800 Km helped by 886 different vehicles. So far, he covered Europe, Africa and the North of America. His intend is to finish the tour of the world by 2012, his goal is to meet people and to be exposed to all possible cultures.

	The Good of the Place, Saint Lawrence University	Nov 9, 2009	Our club had the honnor to listen William L.Fox '75,the new President of SLU as the speaker.The Good of the Place, Saint Lawrence University, was also hightlighted by the presence of three Students from SLU that received the Rotary International President Citation for 2008-2009.

	The global recession and its impact in Europe	Oct 26, 2009	The SUNY Canton's International Program welcomed representatives of Dnipropetrovsk State Internal Affairs University, Ukreaine. The members of the team from Ukkraine attended our lunch and they were welcomed by Marela Fiacco. 	NYSARC-50th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION	Sep 28, 2009	May 29, 2009 NYSARC celebrated the 50th anniversary. Rotarian Daphne Pickert, Director of NYSARC in Canton presented to the club a very sounded historical review of NYSARC. On the pictures(view) are also the President of our club,Linda McQuinn and the superintendent of the High School of Canton, rotarian Bill Gregory. Bill received a autographed book by Daphne for the library of the school, instead of the traditional mug given to the speaker.

	Membership-Foundation seminar At SUNY Canton, NY	Aug 8, 2009	30 members of the 7040 District participated to the Membership-Foundation seminar. Kathy Del-GUIDICE was our perfect host. Membership recruiting and retention, How to apply for a foundation grant and examples of projects work shop were very well attended.Thank you for Bob Hanna, Peter Brashaw, Beth Miller and Bill gray were our oustanding leaders for the day.
