Professor Emeritus Richard W. “Dick” Miller, 93, of W. Main Street, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, January 6, 2012. Among his survivors are his three daughters, Karen, Cheryl and Michele. Allison has been an Interac Advisor at the Lisbon School for past 4 years. It is a team of 15 students and 6 chaperons from US and Canada. With Linda McQuinn, our President is Becky AKINS, Chaperon during this adventure.

This two days celebration gathered close to 200 people at the restaurant. Williams High School to recognize outstanding achievement of students in vocational areas.Kaleb received both a certificate and cash award for his outstanding performance in Conservation, Power Mechanics, Personal Finance, and Materials Processing.
Campus Kitchen Project. Jan 25, 2010 Campus Kitchen Project: The main goal of Campus Kitchens Project (CKP) is to use leftover food to create nutritious meals for those in the community that may need it.This exceptional project was presented by Stacie Sommerfield and Caitlin Christie SLU '11. Jeremy MARIE a world traveller. Jan 4, 2010 Jeremy MARIE starting in 2007 a World tour by Hitch Hicking. From CAEN(France), his feet took him in a tour of already 76,800 Km helped by 886 different vehicles. So far, he covered Europe, Africa and the North of America. His intend is to finish the tour of the world by 2012, his goal is to meet people and to be exposed to all possible cultures.

The Good of the Place, Saint Lawrence University Nov 9, 2009 Our club had the honnor to listen William L.Fox '75,the new President of SLU as the speaker.The Good of the Place, Saint Lawrence University, was also hightlighted by the presence of three Students from SLU that received the Rotary International President Citation for 2008-2009.

NYSARC-50th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION Sep 28, 2009 May 29, 2009 NYSARC celebrated the 50th anniversary. Rotarian Daphne Pickert, Director of NYSARC in Canton presented to the club a very sounded historical review of NYSARC. On the pictures(view) are also the President of our club,Linda McQuinn and the superintendent of the High School of Canton, rotarian Bill Gregory. Bill received a autographed book by Daphne for the library of the school, instead of the traditional mug given to the speaker.
