CLUB SERVICE . Plan social activities for the club [fall picnic, holiday lunch, spring social gathering ]. . Involve all members in the club’s service projects. . Recognize club members who participate in and provide leadership to the club’s service projects. . Activities undertaken by the Canton Rotary Club: Spaghetti supper. Pancake breakfast. Radio days. 50/50 at the Appleton arena. Chuck-a-puck at the Appleton arena. Golf tournament. PRESS AND PUBLIC RELATION/WEB SITE . Monitor-maintain-update the club website for keeping information current [ both public and club access ]. . Conduct public relations efforts for all services projects. . Conduct a public awareness program targeted at the business and professional community about what Rotary is ans what it does. . Discuss publication of the club newsletter and types of information that will be most useful to members. EXCECUTIVE COMMITTEE BOARD . Have the President-Elect attend PETS and the district assembly. . Have all committee chairs attend the district assembly. . Undertake long-range planning for the club [ one year, three years, five years ]. . Encourage new members to assume positions of leadership through participation in club committees. . Ask club members to attend other clubs to exchange ideas and share what they learn with the club. . Establish a nominating process for club elections on March 2, 2009. . Plan social activities for the club [fall picnic, holiday lunch, spring social gathering ]. .
